Follow up post. Went to range with new Timney trigger in my Ruger AR556. Once scope dialed in, and zeroed, the next 3 shot group was a sub MOA of .75". I was nowhere close to that before the Timney trigger.
It is not cheap, but is the best upgrade you can do for your AR.

installed this trigger in a Ruger AR-556. Testing the mil spec trigger, it broke at an avg of 8 lbs. Testing the new Timney trigger, it breaks at 3 lbs. Soooooo much better. I have not taken it out to the range yet, but having a Timney trigger in my Weatherby .300 wsm deer rifle, my accuracy greatly improved in my groupings and I feel confident that this will have the same results. I recommend..
